Questions and answers

  • Each painting is made by hand, so timing can vary by size, detail, studio workload, destination, and carrier route.

    Shipping includes tracking where carrier service is available.

    If your order is time-sensitive, please contact service@realoilart.com before ordering and we will help confirm a realistic window.

  • Framed and frameless paintings do not include hanging hardware or hooks. You will need to attach your own hanging hardware (a hanging wire, D-rings, or a sawtooth hanger), or have a local framing shop install it for you. Once mounted, the frame can be hung horizontally or vertically as you wish.

    If you purchase a rolled canvas, you will need a local gallery or framing shop to stretch and frame it. They can install the hanging hardware for you at that time.

  • For a single subject portrait above a sofa or fireplace, 20x24" or 24x36" works beautifully. For smaller spaces, gallery walls, or desk display, 12x16" or 16x20" is perfect. As a rule of thumb, choose a painting that's roughly 2/3 the width of the furniture it hangs above. Still unsure? Email service@realoilart.com with your room dimensions and we will recommend a size.

  • Please contact us within 30 days of delivery if there is delivery damage, a quality concern, or an order issue.

    We will review the situation and help with a reasonable revision, replacement, exchange, or refund where appropriate.
